Ulrik was born in Darmstadt, Germany, but grew up in the mining town of Malm in Nord-Trøndelag. He holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in European Studies from NTNU, where he specialized in energy, defense, and industrial policy. During his studies in Trondheim, he was very active in student volunteer work and got involved with NTNUI, the Student Parliament, the student council, and the European Studies student association at NTNU called Eureka. Ulrik also has an internship at the Norwegian-German Chamber of Commerce under his belt. Currently, he spends his free time and energy as the leader of European Youth.
In his free time, he is engaged in his role as the leader of European Youth, as well as cheering for Rosenborg from Øvre Øst. Ulrik is a die-hard Rosenborg fan and would love to see Rosenborg play in Europe again.
