Håvard was born and raised in Trondheim, where he studied a bachelor’s degree in economics and administration at Trondheim Business School. After his studies, he worked as an administrative leader at the Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience, an advisor at the NTNU Energy Transition Initiative and as an advisor at Visindi. Alongside work, he took a Master of Management at BI Business School in Oslo. Since 2021, he has been living in Ghent in Belgium. He lives there with his Belgian partner and two daughters.
Håvard has been the director at the Trøndelag European office since August 2021. Here he is responsible for the daily operation and development of the office in addition to a special focus on bio- and circular economy.
In his spare time, he was previously active in the international children and youth organization CISV, while today his time outside of work is mostly spent with friends and family as well as the occasional football match at various European stadiums.
