ERRIN – European Regions Research and Innovation Network
ERRIN is a regional network for research and development, where more than 100 regional offices collaborate in several subject areas. ERRIN facilitates knowledge exchange and project collaboration with the aim of strengthening the member regions' capacity in research and innovation. The network also helps regions to explore opportunities for participation in EU programmes. Trøndelag's European office works actively within several working groups - in line with our members' needs and wishes.
Team Norway in Brussels
We take an active role in the Norwegian information exchange in Brussels, and maintain close dialogue with the Mission of Norway to the EU, NorCore and other Norwegian organizations to identify EU initiatives of importance to our members.
Horisont Trøndelag
We coordinate the EU network Horisont Trøndelag on behalf of Trøndelag county municipality. The network's purpose is to mobilize for increased participation in Trønder's participation in the EU's framework program for research and innovation, Horizon Europe. The network is based on the knowledge and innovation needs that the public sector in Trøndelag faces. The Research Council of Norway and Innovation Norway finance the network.
ERIAFF network – European Regions for Innovation in Agriculture, Food and Forestry
The Network of European Regions for Innovation in Agriculture, Food and Forestry (ERIAFF) is an informal association of regional Authorities, where we take actively part in a number of thematic working groups. This in order to develop interregional innovation projects and to facilitate the integration of European policies in favour of innovation in the areas of agriculture, food and forestry.
ELEN – The European Language Equality Network
ELEN seeks to promote and protect European lesser-used languages, to work towards linguistic equality for these languages, and multilingualism, under the broader framework of human rights, and to be a voice for the speakers of these languages at the local, regional, national, European and international level. ELEN’s purpose is to represent the 50 million people, 10% of the EU’s population, who speak a regional, minority, or endangered language (RML).
